So how much have you lost??

Everyone alway talks about how much they made investing in stocks or other forms of investing. My question is how much have you lost investing? Losing sounds bad but it's the most valuable lesson ever learned, especially if you studied why you lost.

I'll start, so far I've lost about $5340.23 which keeps growing in size. I think another year or so I will probably lose twice as much but in the end I think I will be a better investor because of it.

since i'm young i'm thinking about some mutual funds, probably mostly forex stuff

there are some franklin templeton mutual funds that i'm looking into, they're risky, but again.. i'm young

perhaps their BRIC, or china fund... (BRIC = brazil, russia, india, china)

we'll see

All my money is invested in commercial pad sites and raw land. Commercial real estate prices have always been strong, I've seen my property values soar 200-300% in the last 4 years alone.

I remember my finance prof. told me that the stock market was such an efficient machine, it was impossible for average people without insider knowledge to make a killing in relation to the amount initially invested.
