2010 GT-R Launch Control
I picked up a 2010 GT-R a few weeks ago. It's my understanding that the launch control feature was reprogrammed due to the issues with the 2009 model and that the 2010 model launches at 3000 rpm now.
I am having a hard time finding a description of exactly how this works on the 2010 though... I have heard that you hold the brake and gas and then release the brake, but I am not about to risk damaging the car until I have a clear cut answer on the correct procedure.
Anybody on this forum have experience with the 2010 and can give some insight?
Thanks

As my understanding the launch control on the 09 to 11 were changed from originaly 4,500 rpms on the 09 to a 3,000 launch. The 2012 GTR fixed the problem and can now launch like it was originaly intended to. Launching the GTR will void the warranty i believe, but having a 09 mine was voided already anyways.
You must put the transmission in race mode and the turn the traction control off. Hold the gas and the brake at the same time and then watch the rpm's reach 3,000 and let go of the brake and thats how the launch control works. I tried it this way i and i got a very weak bogging launch and i got a 12.0 @ 116..60 FT was 2.0. My only moddification is the accesport stage one..
A guy who was at the track showed me another way to launch it.. You must have the transmission in race and and traction control of like before but when you hold the gas and the brake to 3,000 rpms again you must pump the brake while you hold the gas to trick the computer and the rpms will jump to like 4,000 and then i would let go of the gas.. Results were a very respectable launch and race with all four tires screeching. 11.7 @ 116... 60FT was now 1.7..
Always make sure your transmission and clutch stay at a good temperature so they dont overheat
