I am simply sharing valid information from a meeting I attended in person. It is not heresay. I have no reason to feed any frenzy. My dealership is allocated 3 GTRs. One is already pre-sold at $10,000 over msrp. The others will sell as well.

It seems obvious that that would be a great ploy to build up the frenzy even more and subsequently jack up the prices in the first year. My $.02
I agree and match your $.02 for a grand total of $.04

How many GT-Rs do you think will exist in your dealership's metro area through Nissan's limited run then???? You are selling 3 this year and you suggest that will diminish over time. So after 5 years you will have, what, around 8 GT-Rs which your service department will have to service per year? Seems like an awful waste based on all the equipment and training involved....

Nate,

It's clear that this issue is literally close to home. I'm curious to hear how this develops as I don't have any connection like that to a dealership.

It's fair to ask both parties to validate their claims, at the same time, it might be hard on an online forum. Still, I would hope that people would be honest, but with the anonymity of the internets, its a lot to ask.

Matt,

I agree 100%. I am just getting so sick of these dealerships taking advantage of the U.S. consumer even when we are technically in a recession. I have removed all ealier content.

Cheers,
