EVO Mag: GT-R vs ZO6 vs R8 vs GT3

GTRs have always had large back seats. Mine fit anyone without a problem behind me, and I am about 6 foot. They are truly useable cars and almost always have been.
On the competition, I would actualyl rate the vette as the furthest form a comfortable daily. The z06 makes pretty big sacrifices to daily comfort to get the price and track performance. The GT3 and R8 are both perfectly comfortable although the r8 certainly lacks on storage. The GTR though is certainly in a different league of practicality

The Z06 is ok for an every day car as long as you are not sitting in traffic for hours.
I own one, and have driven in plenty of GT3's and would say the GT3 is way more harsh. It has a harder clutch spring as well making it tough in traffic, so I would have to say I disagree.
The Z06 also has the advantage that it has a HUGE trunk. I can fit 2 sets of golf clubs in there + a cooler without trying too hard. That is something even the GTR is going to struggle with.

well i havent driven one, but i guess the comparison was that the regular c6 corvette to the c6 zo6 is where the difference is
most people who drive sports cars don't complain about the ride being too harsh, sometimes passangers do, but we usually don't care
it's something that people who are a little less into cars care a lot about though

Personally, I could be happy with all of the above. I have always swayed more towards the GTR and GT3 though. If an R8 were significantly cheaper, that would be right at the top.

The list price is not terrible, especially for the type of car it is. Its actually the markup that kills it. Think our markups are bad, they see 40k+ markups with most ending up in the 170k range
