r35 RHD to LHD conversion??

RHD to LHD conversion

Hi guys,
I want to get a RHD car from Japan, since it will be cheaper as well as being faster to receive, the other compliant tho is that I want mine in LHD since I have been driving LHD all my life.
since Nissan makes left and right hand drives now, would it be possible to purchase parts off the shelf to convert? or still need custom fabrication?

any input is appreciated...

Regards...

If you think this will save you money on the GTR then you are mistaken. I'm sure it can be done, but it would be a huge PIA.

pain ...

in addition, the RHD Japan version comes with a computer that is 80% in Japanese .. and the GPS Navigation system won't work in the US ...

I'd suggest you wait for the US version if you can ... else you'll lose out alot on the Navi and other features which you won't understand ...

This was an excessively hard and expensive conversion on the older GTRs and probably much more sop for the new one. The cost and amount of custom work would leave you with something you probably wouldnt want...a hacked up GTR. RHD is not hard to get used to. Takes about a week.
