Everything looks great. The carbon fiber pillars give it a unique look.

The only thing that bothers me about this car is the roof. I noticed it's not as sleek and low as it is in the sketches, probably due to visibility concerns. I don't like how the roof continues to slope upwards from the rear when it meets the top of the windshield. Instead it should level out and slope downwards in front towards the windshield. Anybody else notice this? It looks a little bit akward.

But other than that it's perfect.

 

I agree.... everything from mid-way back is perfect... the front fifth is perfect but the section that connects the two has issues... not too hot on the fender edge or the roof line... but it's still a GORGEOUS car... definately getting one as a present to myself.

 

I wanna know how much POWER this car puts to the ground, what the 0-60 and 1320 stats are, and what the interior looks like. Seems more likely to be an Infinity than a Nissan.

Oh by the way, according to the Sony Gran Turismo 4 website, the JGTC version of this car is totally SICK!!!

 

man, this car is really growing on me. the front, as stated will more than likely change minor amounts, but keep that ***. it is the sexiest thing i have ever seen. and the photo chop with the BBS wheels is uber-hot.

I think th car Is very nice all Over I hope i fall in love with it like i did for the r33 and r34 But i will Not personally believe the pics untill i have seen nissan officialy release them.I have seen about 20 different pics of the supposed 35, In fact Top secret(very good car industry) Tried building 1 from a picture .When they did It looked very Mean And very race like But i believe it is nothing Like the R 35 will look like But if it does turn out like that pic It will be very sucsessful.

 

Ok luke... the R35 Skyline is already in production. It's the Infiniti G35 with a few different things. The GT-R Proto this thread is about is the R36 body style. It's not based off any other Nissan model and for a change in Skyline history it is not contrived from a 4-door sedan like ALL previous Skylines. This is in fact the first TRUE Skyline sportscar produced. And all the pictures you have seen on this thread WERE released from Nissan. They have also stated that the car is anywhere from 80-90% complete. The only things they may change are minor details and the front end (slightly).

The Top Secret Skyline you saw was infact a R35 Nissan Skyline that is powered by a VQ35DE and has Top Secret custom twin-turbo kit that is now manufactured for consumer purchase.

(EDIT: Top Secret also has a Titan V8 powered Skyline.)

As far as the $100k, GTRKing... I wouldn't expect that... I also wouldn't expect 500HP... Granted that is what the Proto will have but I would expect this car to be around 45-60k and have roughly 400HP. Granted they do want to squash a Porsche... but they also want to sell their cars. With the market the way it is... they won't sell very many at 100K... Everyone would buy a Viper instead and save 20k for the same power.

definitely may have to consider trading in the Evo once the GTR gets a couple more facelifts. this current concept has nothing on the R34.

 

I found a skyline gtr prototype here by me in the far back end of a junkyard...got its first part of crushing 2 days ago...the guy there says he's required by law to remove the computer out of it and the onboard suspension control.... it doesnt look anything like those two picks it resembles a g35 rear tail lites and front end...looks simalir to a red g35 pick i saw on here...im going back in a few days to get picks...the engine in the car is the same thats in the nissan 350z...and it is a 4 seater...i got the engine vin tag if anyone wants to run the numbers...most of it is in japanesse..it was an electric blue the guy said he cant sell it cause its against the law... i damn near cried when i saw it...it was a right sided driver...ill get pics as soon as i can..
