Here are the "Best Guessed" spec's for the 2008 NISSAN GT-R as put in the August 2006 Edition of Sport Compact Car VOLUME 18, NO. 08

These are the guessed spec's. But from I’ve seen recently, the Cars in 2007-2008 will all be powerful. Especially the sport's car's. Also a Year and a half is still a long time to wait. So in my personal opinion the GTR will get more powerful and more expensive to keep up with the competition. NISSAN stated that this will be their "Flagship Car" so I can almost be positive this car will get even more powerful.

It will already need to compete in the 500 hp club with it's rumored 450+hp. If it weighs in at the portly 3500+lbs that Carlos Gohsn mentioned, it will be sniffing exotic exhaust and looking at a lot of taillights...
Coming in under 3500lbs will be nearly impossible with AWD and a multi turbo set-up.
