fantasy does not mirror reality
basically forget it.
this topic is brought up too many times and the outcome is the same.
import the car and trailer it to the track. you don't want a vintage GTR to get rear-ended or t-boned in traffic, or hit in a parking lot. it's a track car. and the certification is arcane and untenable. you will need all of this money in up-front cash anyway.
so to whomever:
drop the whole fantasy of driving it on public roads. it's actually going to be less hassle and about the same price to just buy or lease the 2007/08 GTR. and if you wait about 7 more years, you can drive the R32 GTR free and clear as the 25 year rule will be in effect.
