Craziest Nissan Skyline yet

Nissan’s NISMO folks are launching the craziest version of the mighty R34 Skyline GT-R, the Z-tune. Z-tune fea-tures 500 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque from a totally reworked 2.8-liter race-bred engine (up from a 2.6-liter). Other modifications include carbon fiber front bumper, hood, front fenders and chassis reinforcements. That's what I thought... Is the car street legal? I can't imagine a highly tuned RB28 would pass emissions if the normal RB26 couldn't.

The normal RB26 can pass emissions, as long as it is an OBD0 or OBD1 car. I know that Jim wolf is adapting a 96 300zxtt ecu to fit on the r34 so that it will be OBD2.

you're the 2nd person in the past month who is "looking for a Z-tune GTR." you're either very rich and powerful or you are completely unaware of what a Z-Tune is.
