What makes it NISMO?

Hi all,
I've got a conumdrum I've got the opertunity to buy a NISMO tuned R32. Now other than what the website says, how else is there to confirm that it is so tuned? I seem to remember that if NISMO does something to it, that they install a "manufacures plate", Yes?

Thanks for the input.
Cheers,
Jim

Yeah, there are probably various badges and plates throughout the car. The Nismo models are not that special with the exception of th Z-Tune r34. But yes, there should be some sort of official plate

i have heard of a few differences such as the plate you speak of as well as badging and the bodykit, the difference body wise consists of a little bootlip spoiler, a differnet front lip spoiler and 3 piece skirts, thats all ive heard of, not sure engine wise, but the whole nismo labelling does sound fancier.... lol

if it's an N1 R32 GT-R it will have an N1 body kit: the mini boot lip spoiler, larger sideskirt mouldings, mini bonnet lip spoiler, larger fascia lip spoiler. and rear window wiper deleted. those will be the outside visual cues for an N1.
